Introduction

Our client is a large consultancy in the UK and are particularly successful working on MoD, Government and Public Sector.

Their agile solutions contribute to a stronger and more cost-effective defence agenda, without sacrificing the overall mission of organisations.

They are looking for people who can work closely with clients in the Defence and Government sector so this experience is essential!

Key responsibilities
  • Shaping, scoping and leading teams or workstreams within larger programmes
  • Working closely with programme leadership to monitor workstream progress, manage risks and dependencies
  • The alignment of the UX workstream with others in a wider programme
  • Overseeing the alignment and contribution of UX designers across multiple delivery teams
  • Working with the UX leadership team to develop our methodologies and shape our position in the market
Skills & experience
  • Experience as a UX designer and the end to end UX design process, working on digital or technology transformation projects either at a leading consultancy, agency or Government organisation
  • Experience in designing, planning and facilitating user research and user testing in order to discover, capture, and document the needs of end-users
  • Experience in developing UX design artefacts including personas, user journeys, wireframe designs and developing UX prototypes
  • Experience in using UX design tools (i.e. Axure, OmniGraffle etc)
  • Experience in delivering UX design projects across a combination of web, intranet, native mobile, tablet and responsive experiences
  • Experience of Agile delivery projects using Agile and UX design tools and methods
  • A passion for digital and technology, with the drive and determination to continually learn new things and develop yourself
