Introduction

Our client is a leading technology consultancy delivering one of the UK's most significant public sector digital transformation programmes. This high-profile initiative is focused on developing a next-generation trade platform that will underpin critical national services for years to come.

The programme involves a large-scale systems integration environment built on a service-oriented architecture (SOA), combining bespoke software development with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions within a hybrid AWS cloud ecosystem. With a multidisciplinary team of over 90 professionals already in place, you'll be joining a mature, collaborative programme with strong governance and clear delivery objectives.

To be successful, you'll have a proven track record of designing and delivering technical solutions from complex business requirements, alongside strong experience with architecture frameworks, governance processes, and artefacts such as solution designs, UML models, and design authority submissions. You'll also bring hands-on technical knowledge of Java (17/21), XML, JSON, relational databases, and AWS services including EC2, EKS, S3, RabbitMQ, and IBM MQ.

Experience with Jira and Confluence is essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.

If you're looking to play a key role in a high-impact programme with national significance, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today to find out more.
