Our client is looking for a Software Engineer to join a highly skilled team delivering world-class, security-focused software solutions. You'll need a solid background in software development, including agile working, programming, and testing across the full development lifecycle.
Working Patterns and location – Fully on site
Key responsibilities
· Deliver high quality, well-tested software solutions on time and within budget.
· Take ownership of a significant technical area with defined authority and responsibility.
· Work closely with customers to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
· Establish technical objectives and define clear roadmaps for delivery teams.
· Delegate responsibilities effectively across engineering teams.
· Influence technical direction and resourcing at a senior stakeholder level.
· Contribute to winning and growing new opportunities that protect critical infrastructure.
Skills & experience
· Proven experience working in agile software development environments.
· Strong programming skills across one or more languages.
· Solid background in software testing methodologies and practices.
· Experience in end-to-end application development.
· Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
· Ability to engage and influence customers and senior stakeholders on technical matters.
· Experience defining technical strategy, objectives, and delivery roadmaps.
The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:
· Knowledge of security solutions or prior experience delivering a security-focused project.
