Our client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing London consultancy team. You'll need to be MRICS chartered with strong cost management experience and hands-on CostX skills — these are non-negotiable. Working Patterns and location – Hybrid – 3 days on site per week

 

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver Quantity Surveying and cost management services across a range of client projects.

  •        Lead and manage projects through all key stages of the project lifecycle.

  •        Produce cost plans, estimates, reports and commercial documentation to a high standard.

  •        Use CostX to support accurate measurement, estimating and cost planning.

  •        Manage client relationships and act as a trusted senior point of contact.

  •        Mentor and support junior Quantity Surveyors across the team.

  •        Support business development activity, bids and identification of new opportunities.

  •        Maintain high professional and technical standards across all project delivery.

Skills & experience
  •        MRICS chartership — this is essential, not desirable.

  •        Strong Quantity Surveying and cost management experience within a consultancy or client-facing environment.

  •        Hands-on, day-to-day experience using CostX for measurement, estimating and cost planning.

  •        Proven ability to produce cost plans, estimates and commercial reports.

  •        Strong client and stakeholder management skills at a senior level.

  •        Previous experience leading, mentoring or managing junior team members.

  •        Commercial awareness with the ability to support business development and bids.

  •        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
