You'll be joining a talented, collaborative team of analysts, product owners and delivery professionals working on large-scale transformation initiatives across Defence and National Security. These are programmes where the stakes are real, the challenges are complex, and your work will make a tangible difference. To hit the ground running, you'll need strong Business Analysis experience gained in complex delivery environments ideally Defence, National Security or similarly regulated sectors. Agile delivery experience is a must, including backlog refinement, user story development and working closely with Product Owners. You'll also need sharp stakeholder management skills, a systems thinking mindset, and the ability to turn ambiguity into clear, actionable requirements. e. Sound like you? Working Patterns and location – Fully on site

·        Engage stakeholders to uncover business challenges, user needs and strategic drivers.

·        Translate complex requirements into clear, actionable documentation for delivery teams.

·        Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to build consensus and drive outcomes.

·        Support agile delivery teams with backlog refinement, work elaboration and prioritisation.

·        Analyse business processes, operating models and technology landscapes to recommend improvements.

·        Produce business cases and evidence-based recommendations to support senior decision-making.

·        Ensure delivered solutions meet user needs and remain aligned to organisational objectives throughout delivery.

·        Proven Business Analysis experience in complex delivery environments, including Defence or National Security.

·        Experience working within agile teams, including requirements elicitation, backlog management and user story development.

·        Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills, able to influence at all levels.

·        Experience applying systems thinking to develop outcome-focused recommendations.

·        Solid knowledge of business analysis techniques, requirements management and change principles.

·        Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, GitLab and Confluence.

·        Ability to hold and maintain eDV — the highest level of UK Government Security Clearance.

The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:

·        Previous experience working in Defence or National Security programmes.

·        Knowledge of relevant legislation, governance frameworks or regulatory requirements.

·        Business Change experience including benefits realisation, business readiness and adoption.

·        Experience mentoring or developing junior Business Analysts.
