Our client is looking for a PMO Reporting Lead to join their growing project controls team, supporting complex defence programmes across the UK. You'll need a strong background in performance reporting frameworks, KPIs, and project controls tools like Primavera P6 or Ecosys.

Working Patterns and location – Hybrid 2-3 days on site per week with UK wide travel as required.
Key responsibilities
· Lead the development and delivery of performance and reporting frameworks across complex programmes.
· Define and implement KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting hierarchies tailored to client needs.
· Drive the roll-out and adoption of reporting tools, processes, and governance frameworks.
· Deliver high-quality, consistent performance data and actionable recovery recommendations.
· Engage senior stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and promote reporting best practice.
· Manage reporting structures and oversee change control processes across project teams.
· Coach and develop junior team members and client staff in performance reporting capability.
· Provide line management, team development, and performance management for senior appointments.
Skills & experience
· Proven experience delivering digital performance reporting on multiple complex projects.
· Strong knowledge of project controls disciplines including scheduling, cost control, EVM, and change control.
· Hands-on experience configuring and supporting project reporting information systems.
· Practical experience implementing progress reporting, forecasting, and performance measurement.
· Experience working with project controls software such as Primavera P6, Ecosys, or Active Risk Manager.
· Strong data analysis and visualisation skills using Microsoft tools and client-based reporting systems.
· Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders with clear, insight-driven reporting.
·
The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:
· A project controls related qualification such as Project Planning and Controls or equivalent.
· Experience coaching or developing client teams in reporting capability and best practice.
· Background working within defence or government programme environments.
· Familiarity with SOX control responsibilities and compliance requirements.
