Introduction

Our client are a leading Defence consultancy looking for planners to support them on their new defence projects.

You will have vast experience creating and managing schedules and acting as the planning lead.

This role is hybrid with 3-4 days per week on site. Full time site options available too.

Key responsibilities
  • Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring resources are available.
  • Act as the Lead Planner.
  • Monitoring progress, ensuring all activites are updated properly.
  • Liaise with the clients, ensuring development of baseline plans for all the projects.
  • Create and provide monthly updates.
  • Provide the Programme Controls team with monthly reporting in an agreed structure, providing planning SME advice that supports project variance analysis.
  • Support to local Change Board, providing schedule impacts and analysis accordingly.
  • Monitor impacts and maintain schedules during impending of the Facility Possession period and other ‘Outages’.
  • Support and work closely with individual Workstream Lead as required to flex with the business and Tech Centre needs.
  • Deliver role in accordance with procedures and industry best practice.
  • Provide detailed planning where there is not a suitable delivery schedule available.
