Our client is looking for consultants to provide People and Culture transformation and change advisory services, to their Defence and National Security clients.
Knowledge of Digital HR, including the use of AI, alongside HR operations is advantageous.
You must have experience within the Defence/Security/Public Sector space to be considered for this role.
Working Patterns: This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week in the office/on site. You need to be happy to travel UK wide as well as this is a consulting role.
Key responsibilities
- Drive digital people and workforce transformation, shaping people strategy, employer brand and EVP, and redesigning end-to-end, tech-enabled talent journeys including capability frameworks and learning pathways.
- Lead and deliver complex workstreams within transformation programmes, managing cross-functional teams and ensuring high-quality, on-time outcomes.
- Build trusted client relationships through confident stakeholder engagement across HR, Technology, and the wider business.
- Leverage data, insight and emerging HR technologies to conduct research, analysis and diagnostics, translating complexity into innovative, practical solutions.
- Engage directly with client leaders and employees, conducting interviews and facilitating high-impact workshops to capture requirements and accelerate decision-making.
- Produce compelling, insight-led deliverables, including executive-ready presentations, transformation roadmaps and recommendations.
- Collaborate with clients to scope and shape digital change initiatives, gathering requirements, validating assumptions, and ensuring shared understanding.
- Coach and oversee junior consultants and analysts, providing quality assurance on outputs and supporting their professional development (at senior levels).
- Thrive in diverse, inclusive consulting teams, contributing to a culture that values collaboration, innovation and impact.
Skills & experience
- Experience in the Defence or National Security sector and knowledge their working practices.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of HR and the value it adds to an organisation.
- Proven ability to assess, design and implement new HR service delivery and HR operating models considering business demands and more efficient ways of working.
- Proven ability to apply knowledge and expertise across either; HR operations, HR transformation programmes, enabling HR technologies, shared services, digital HR, HR organisation design, recruitment, EDI, strategic communications.
- Strategic analysis of future organisational capabilities and trends and the ability to communicate with stakeholders.
- Possess excellent facilitation, communication and data analysis skills and have an ability to influence others.
- Be able to apply knowledge and expertise in a range of client scenarios, focusing on high quality even in high pressured, time critical situations.
- Experience of working with new HR Technology and experience of analysis of an organisation’s HR requirements.
- An understanding of robotics/automation for process optimisation and the use of AI is desirable.
