Our client is a well-respected engineering and technology consultancy with a strong track record of delivering some of the UK's most complex and sensitive government programmes. This is a team that takes its work seriously because the outcomes genuinely matter.  The P3M Consultancy division is busy — really busy — and they're looking for two Consultants to join their Secure Government team in Gloucestershire. You'll be working across a varied portfolio of programmes, from short-term advisory assignments to long-term embedded delivery roles within classified client environments. The projects are complex, the stakes are high, and the work is genuinely rewarding.  To be considered, you'll need solid, demonstrable experience in Project Management or P3M delivery — ideally gained in Defence, Central Government, Energy or Transport. You'll need a strong grasp of PM methodologies including RAIDO, stakeholder management, governance and assurance, and you'll be comfortable identifying problems and driving solutions in high-pressure environments. Critically, you must hold or be eligible for eDV (Enhanced Developed Vetting) clearance — this is non-negotiable given the nature of the work.  Sound like you? APPLY TODAY and let's talk.

Working Patterns 4-5 days on site per week in Cheltenham or London.

·        Operate within a team to deliver large, complex programmes for government clients.

·        Embed within client teams to manage and deliver projects or programmes on their behalf.

·        Support the design, implementation and operation of PMOs across the P3M spectrum.

·        Provide project management and project controls advice to clients at programme level.

·        Identify problems within existing projects and implement practical solutions.

·        Manage delivery across interrelated and dependent programmes in complex environments.

·        Apply RAIDO, stakeholder management, assurance and governance frameworks effectively.

·        Work across varied industries and adapt quickly to new challenges and client environments.

·        Demonstrable experience in Project Management or P3M delivery in Defence, Energy, Transport or Central Government.

·        National Security DV Clerance.

·        Ability to manage delivery across interrelated and dependent programmes in complex environments.

·        Strong practical knowledge of PM methodologies including RAIDO, governance and assurance.

·        Proven stakeholder management and communication skills at programme level.

·        Ability to identify problems within live projects and implement effective solutions.

·        Clear and confident presentation skills with experience briefing senior stakeholders.

The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:

·        Previous experience working in a Secure Government environment.

·        Experience supporting or delivering data centre development programmes.

·        Familiarity with classified information handling environments and associated protocols.

·        Experience delivering within multi-partner or multi-supplier programme environments.
