Operations Manager

Our client are a digital and organisational transformation consultancy who are looking for an Operation Manager to support their National Security projects.

The Operations Manager will be leading a team of operational staff to implement operational strategies that are to quality and meet operational targets.

Working Patterns and location: 5 days on client site in Cheltenham

• Work closely with senior leadership to design and execute operational strategies that align with company objectives.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to streamline processes, boost efficiency, and ensure consistent achievement of key operational targets such as quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage employee onboarding processes and become the point of contact for employee administration.
• Allocate resources such as people, technology and tools to various client projects, ensuring the correct skillset are in place.
• Monitor project process.
• Lead and manage operational staff and provide guidance to ensure high quality performance and consistent delivery.
• Identify areas to implement solutions in order to optimise workflow and reduce waste and delay.
• Enforce Operational procedures and leverage technology.
• Assist management of operational budgets and report on key performance indicators.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks.
• Manage and facilitate the bidding process.

• Presentation experience
