Our client is a highly respected consultancy delivering large-scale digital and technology programmes across Central Government, supporting critical services that have a real impact nationwide.
They are looking for an experienced Lead Technical Architect to join an established Cloud Platform team, working closely with a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to provide technical leadership and architectural direction. The team is driving the development of a robust AWS platform, with key initiatives including AWS Control Tower, landing zone architecture, account vending, FinOps, and the integration of AWS Identity Centre with Entra ID.
This is an opportunity to influence the future direction of a major government cloud capability, helping to define best practices, governance frameworks, and scalable architectural patterns that will be adopted across multiple teams.
To be successful, you'll bring extensive AWS architecture expertise, a strong understanding of UK Government security and compliance requirements, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Active SC Clearance is essential.
