- Our client is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with experience integrating IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments in secure or defence settings.
- You’ll design and maintain secure ICS infrastructure that supports mission-critical naval systems. You will manage Windows Server and Red Hat Linux environments, implement virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V), and ensure high availability across mission systems, whilst enforcing cybersecurity compliance.

Key responsibilities
- Designing ICS Infrastructure for naval platforms, ensuring high availability and defence-grade security.
- Integrating IT/OT systems to support mission-critical operations.
- Managing Windows Server and Red Hat Linux environments, optimising for performance and compliance.
- Implementing virtualisation solutions (VMware, Hyper-V) to support scalable development.
- Maintaining IT assets and automating monitoring/reporting across the development environment.
- Enforcing cybersecurity standards, conducting vulnerability scans, and ensuring regulatory compliance (ISO 27001, IEC 62443).
Skills & experience
- Proven experience designing and maintaining secure ICS infrastructure.
- Skills in managing Windows Server domains and Red Hat Linux environments.
- Hands on experience implementing and supporting virtualised infrastructure.
- Experienced in integrate IT and OT systems securely.
- Proven ability to conduct vulnerability scanning and enforce cybersecurity standards.
- Experience maintaining IT asset management and monitoring systems.
- Familiarity with ensuring compliance with cybersecurity and defence regulations.
