Introduction

Our client is one of the most recognised names in professional services and management consultancy, working at the heart of government, shaping the future of Defence, Justice, and wider public sector organisations. This isn't box-ticking consultancy work. These are complex, high-stakes programmes that make a real difference to how the UK's most critical institutions operate. You'd be joining a collaborative, high-performing team that works across everything from operating model redesign to financial turnarounds. The team is growing, the pipeline is strong, and the work is varied, no two engagements look the same. To hit the ground running, you'll need proven experience leading workstreams or small projects in business transformation or operational improvement, ideally from a consulting background or directly within the public sector. You'll be comfortable managing junior team members, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and structuring a clear narrative that lands with confidence in the room.
