DevOps Engineer

Our client is a world-class engineering consultancy looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join on their Cybersecurity work.

With extensive experience in communications systems, electronic sensors, and information assurance and in both the civil and military domains, they understand the technical complexities of modern and future systems. The team of over 350 engineering consultants develop new concepts, capabilities and systems to protect what matters most to their clients.

Working Patterns: This role is based full time on site.

• Automation of testing and maintenance.
• Capability support to lay foundations for new chipsets.
• Implementation of security standards into the DevOps pipeline.
• Secure handling of sensitive data and environments.
• Build and improve automated test frameworks.
• Reduce manual intervention in system updates and maintenance.
• Develop scalable tools that allow future hardware support.
• Ensure reusability and maintainability of the tools.

• Proficiency with Jenkins for automation and deployment.
• Proficiency with Python programming.
• Proficiency with Docker.
• Backend development using Flask framework.
• Cybersecurity knowledge and best practices.
• Strong collaboration in small technical teams.
• Comfortable working in classified or sensitive environments.
