Our client is looking for Software Developers in Test (SDETs) at multiple experience levels to join their growing engineering teams. You'll combine software engineering and quality engineering skills to build automation frameworks, tooling and CI/CD capabilities that support mission-critical services. Working Patterns and location – Fully on site

Key responsibilities

·        Design, build and maintain automated test frameworks, tools and services to improve delivery confidence.

·        Develop resilient, maintainable software that supports both products and quality engineering capabilities.

·        Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and repeatable software delivery.

·        Identify quality risks early and support teams in delivering trusted, secure software solutions.

·        Investigate defects, analyse system behaviour and contribute to root-cause analysis.

·        Participate in peer reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.

·        Collaborate with software engineers, architects and operational stakeholders to solve complex technical problems.

·        Share knowledge, mentor colleagues and help develop modern quality engineering practices across the team.

Skills & experience

·        Practical experience developing software, automation tooling or engineering solutions.

·        Solid understanding of software engineering principles and modern development practices.

·        Experience working within Agile software delivery environments.

·        Ability to analyse complex technical problems and develop practical, well-considered solutions.

·        Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful technical outcomes.

·        Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at varying technical levels.

·        Commitment to continuous learning and a genuine passion for engineering excellence.

 

The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:

·        Experience in test automation and quality engineering frameworks.

·        Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling and pipeline development.

·        Background in performance, reliability or resilience engineering.

·        Experience with cloud-native or distributed systems environments.

·        Knowledge of infrastructure and environment automation or observability tooling.

·        Experience working in secure or highly assured technology environments.
