Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Software Developer to join a forward-thinking, high-performing development team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, building, and enhancing proprietary software applications that are critical to the business.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, combined with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions within an Agile environment. You’ll be someone who thrives in a collaborative setting, contributes to technical innovation, and takes ownership of delivering robust, scalable software.
Working Patterns: This is a hybrid role, 2-3 times per week on site
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with a small, collaborative development team in a fast-paced environment, contributing to Rapid Application Development (RAD) with a strong focus on Agile delivery.
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for large-scale, long-lifecycle systems, supporting multiple customers with varying configurations and requirements.
- Apply strong technical expertise in ASP.NET, C#, and MS SQL to deliver robust, high-quality applications.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the platform, working primarily within the .NET Framework while supporting the transition to .NET 6+ technologies.
- Utilise modern development tools such as Jira for work tracking and GitHub for version control and collaboration.
Skills & experience
- Previous experience in the Food Production Sector is a plus but not mandatory.
- Proficiency with developer tools such as Jira and GitHub.
- While not essential, holding Microsoft certifications in the relevant areas would be beneficial.
