Senior Security Consultant

Our client is looking for a Senior Security Consultant to deliver across Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) and Operational Technology (OT) environments.

The ideal candidate will come from industry or a similar consultancy environment, having lead risk assessments, security governance, and client delivery across projects within an OT environment, ideally CNI or Defence.

Working Patterns and location – Hybrid – 2 days on site per week

·        Lead and deliver risk assessments, security governance, and tailored security controls for clients across Defence, CNI, and OT environments.

·        Develop, review, and maintain security policies, procedures, and compliance artefacts.

·        Manage multiple concurrent projects, balancing client and business priorities to tight deadlines.

·        Mentor and support junior consultants, driving continuous improvement across the security team.

·        Contribute to business development, proposals, and building strong client relationships.

·        Communicate cyber security risks and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

·        Apply creative, innovative thinking to solve complex and non-routine security challenges.

·        Experience delivering technical cyber security consultancy in complex, multi-disciplined environments.

·        Strong background in information assurance, ISMS development, risk assessments, and security controls.

·        Experience delivering cyber security consultancy in OT or ICS environments, such as energy or utilities.

·        Familiarity with OT cyber security standards including IEC 62443, NIST CSF, or NIS Regulations.

·        Strong understanding of Secure by Design principles and methodology.

·        Experience working with MoD security policies such as JSP440 and JSP604 would be of benefit.

·        Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

·        Relevant professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CISMP, or Chartered Cyber Security
