Senior Project Manager
Introduction
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing consultancy who work primarily within national security and Defence domains.
We are on the lookout for project managers of various levels to help lead, mentor and deliver projects in an agile or lean manner.
This role is based full time on site due to the nature of the work.
Key responsibilities
- Communicate with stakeholders to identify project requirements, delivery timelines and costs
- Support the bidding work.
- Deliver the project to the scope, time and cost in line with client requirements.
- Preparing project plans to guide clients, staff members and project teams in line with business change and technical delivery.
- Working alongside the technical delivery team to recommendations to the customer.
- Being responsible for the financial management of projects, i.e risk and cost mitigation.
- Being responsible for the profitability of the project.
- Develop excellent leadership, customer relations and communication skills.
- Mentor and lead teams.
- Support new business opportunities.
- Attend networking/seminar events.
- Be prepared to support our involvement in apprenticeship schemes.
- Supporting bid activities
Skills & experience
- Have knowledge of key senior stakeholder relationships
- Take onboard feedback from stakeholders to flex and grow your project management skills.
