Our client is looking for a QA Engineer to join their Mission Critical Services team, working on technology that genuinely cannot afford to fail. You'll need solid experience in software or system integration testing and a strong grasp of QA principles.  Apply now!

Working Patterns and location – Fully on site

Key responsibilities

·        Design, develop and execute testing activities across complex technology environments.

·        Create and maintain test environments, test cases and test data to a high standard.

·        Identify, investigate and manage defects through to resolution with engineering teams.

·        Support integration, regression, functional and non-functional testing throughout delivery.

·        Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives to boost delivery confidence.

·        Assess quality risks and communicate appropriate mitigations to stakeholders.

·        Share knowledge and promote engineering best practice across the team.

Skills & experience

·        Experience in software and/or system integration testing or quality engineering environments.

·        Strong understanding of testing principles, methodologies and QA practices.

·        Experience identifying, documenting and managing defects through to resolution.

·        Ability to analyse problems, investigate issues and communicate findings clearly.

·        Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering and delivery teams.

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.

 

 

The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:

·        Experience supporting or implementing automated testing approaches.

·        Exposure to large-scale, mission-critical or highly assured technology environments.

·        Understanding of integration and end-to-end testing practices.

·        Knowledge of secure or regulated delivery environments.

·        Experience contributing to process improvement or quality transformation initiatives.

·        Experience mentoring junior colleagues or supporting team capability development.
