Our client is an established defence technology business operating at the cutting edge of technology in the UK defence sector, with a strong reputation for delivering highly secure, mission-critical systems to government and military customers.

You'd be joining a close-knit team based across two sites in Berkshire and Hampshire, working on a programme that keeps vital information confidential for some very important end users. The team spans engineering, IT and technical services and they need someone who can hold it all together. To be considered, you'll need solid, all-round Project Management experience within IT on-premise environments covering planning, financial management, risk, stakeholder engagement and reporting. You should be comfortable owning delivery performance end-to-end, managing KPIs and SLAs, and building trusted relationships with customers and senior leadership alike. A formal PM qualification such as APM or Agile is required, and you must hold current DV security clearance. Sound like you? APPLY TODAY and let's talk.

·        Own delivery performance, reporting and measurement for internal and external stakeholders.

·        Build and maintain trusted customer relationships, acting as the key point of contact for service delivery.

·        Coordinate across IT, Technical Services and Compliance teams to ensure long-term delivery standards are met.

·        Monitor service performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the programme.

·        Communicate risks, financials, delivery status and improvement plans to senior leadership.

·        Plan and deliver pilot projects to time, cost and quality to assess suitability for service enhancement.

·        Identify opportunities for contract growth and develop costed proposals and support models.

·        Resolve team conflicts, coordinate priorities and maintain high productivity and service standards.

·        Proven end-to-end Project Management experience covering planning, financial management, risk and reporting.

·        Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.

·        Experience controlling and reporting delivery schedules and costs against an overall budget.

·        Confident leading cross-functional teams across engineering and IT disciplines.

·        Experience measuring and reporting against customer KPIs and SLAs.

·        Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills in complex delivery environments.

·        Formal Project Management qualification such as APM or Agile.

The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:

·        Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service management principles.

·        Experience working in defence, aerospace or other regulated industries.

Salary: 💷 Ask about salary for exact details but they are paying somewhere between £55k - £85k pa and are negotiable + DV bonus + OT bonus
