Our client is looking for a DV cleared Network Engineer to join their IP management team working on critical national infrastructure in London. You'll need solid hands-on experience with enterprise routing, LAN switching, and network security technologies. Apply Today!
Working Patterns and location – Fully on site
Key responsibilities
· Design, build, test, validate, and maintain all network infrastructure components.
· Implement new and enhanced network technologies aligned to customer strategic direction.
· Maintain standards for global network infrastructure including wireless, LAN, and SD-WAN.
· Manage installation, testing, and setup of physical and virtual network hardware.
· Ensure currency and ongoing supportability of networking technology across the estate.
· Support enterprise and remote site connectivity solutions for large-scale customers.
· Deliver work packages as part of a customer-focused engineering capability team.
Skills & experience
· Experience with enterprise and operator-scale routing protocols such as OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, LDP or RSVP.
· Strong knowledge of LAN switching in data centre and enterprise environments, including RSTP/MSTP, LAG, MC-LAG or SPB.
· Experience implementing network security technologies including MACSEC, IPSEC, and 802.1x.
· Knowledge of network security design including Firewall, IDS, and IPS management and configuration.
· Hands-on experience with first-hop resilience and security protocols in enterprise environments.
· Ability to manage installation and configuration of both physical and virtual network hardware.
· Experience supporting SD-WAN, wireless, and global network infrastructure standards.
· Must hold or be eligible for DV clearance — requires 10+ years of UK residency.

· Ability to contribute to engineering strategy and broader technical direction.
· Experience managing complex work activities spanning technical, financial, and quality dimensions.
· Confidence engaging and building relationships with senior stakeholders and customers.
· Ability to apply a wide range of technical and management principles creatively across projects.
