Delivery Manager

Our client is supporting the Secure Government space with their complex digital delivery challenges, implementing Agile at scale, DevOps pipelines, and high-stakes release cycles.

You will be managing ensuring products and projects are managed and delivered.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience managing IT or digital product delivery in structured or Agile environments, strong stakeholder management across technical teams and secure government clients.

Working Patterns and location – Hybrid – 3 to 4 days on site per week, more could be expected during busy periods.

•        Manage end-to-end delivery of IT and digital products and services for government clients.

•        Work within multidisciplinary Agile teams across the Secure Government market.

•        Coordinate digital delivery activity across teams, clients and suppliers.

•        Manage risks, dependencies, assumptions and issues across digital delivery teams.

•        Ensure outputs meet agreed performance, quality and security standards.

•        Shape delivery approaches and maintain digital governance standards.

•        Support adoption of modern digital ways of working across the practice.

•        Produce high-quality technical and delivery reporting for stakeholders.

• Experience managing IT or digital product delivery in Agile or structured environments.

•        Strong stakeholder management across technical teams, clients and suppliers.

•        Solid understanding of Agile, DevOps, Scrum or SAFe delivery methodologies.

•        Ability to manage backlogs, sprint cycles, release plans and delivery workflows.

•        Experience managing risks, dependencies and issues across digital delivery teams.

•        Strong organisational skills coordinating engineering, architecture and cyber teams.

•        Clear written and verbal communication with ability to produce strong delivery reports.

•        Experience working with suppliers and commercial teams within IT environments.

The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:

•        Previous experience working in a Secure Government or classified environment.

•        Familiarity with digital governance frameworks and value-driven technology outcomes.

•        Relevant delivery or project management certification such as AgilePM, SAFe or PRINCE2.

•        Experience working within a consultancy or professional services environment.
