Company cultures & job summary

Our client is a well-respected engineering and technology consultancy with a strong footprint across some of the UK's most complex and sensitive programmes. They work at the cutting edge of critical national infrastructure, and the people who thrive here are those who want to do genuinely meaningful work. This role sits within a collaborative technical team working directly alongside a client in Gloucestershire. You'll be embedded on-site, shaping the architecture of hosting platforms designed to serve demanding data centre environments, covering everything from resource management and power efficiency through to security, scalability, and API integration. Beyond that, they want someone with a deep, hands-on understanding of data centre infrastructure (servers, storage, networking, power, cooling) . Experience with data centre management tools, the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, and a track record of working with product or engineering teams to deliver customer-aligned solutions are all essential. Familiarity with industry certifications such as CCNA/CCNP Data Centre or VCP-DCV will set you apart. Sound like you?
