This role would suit someone who has worked within Supply Chain/Procurement/eCommerce/Commercial environments and focused on process improvement, data modelling or financial analysis.

It is imperative that you have a strong understanding of how companies use data to improve business performance.

Key responsibilities
  • Receiving client data reports, reviewing their integrity and working with client colleagues to identify problems and risks in a client’s business, often analysing complex data sets
  • Testing quality of data and reconciling data across multiple sources for presentation internally
  • Developing report outputs and validating their accuracy, for both internal and external use
  • Supporting in the preparation of materials for client meetings
  • Generating ideas and frameworks to help solve problems that deliver insightful fact-based findings which drive business intelligence and recommendations for improvement
  • Contributing to proposed technology developments as required and supports the Technology Team if needed
  • Making recommendations to improve processes as required
  • Creating knowledge management, as agreed with Line Manager and consistent with KM guidelines
Skills & experience
  • Good A Level Maths
  • Strong numerate degree level in Engineering, IT, Mathematics or equivalent analytical discipline
  • Proven experience of Excel and use of visual basic in a commercial environment
