Virtualisation Architect

Working as part of small project team designing and delivering a new, high security capability supporting an exciting programme in Defence. In this fast-paced environment you will play a critical part in the design and delivery of this capability.

Be the project Virtualisation Architect and SME, providing expert design and guidance on secure virtualisation design, overseeing the design, build, and deployment phases, ensuring best practices are followed.

Develop High-Level Designs and Architecture Overview Documents using leading virtualization technologies.

Develop Low-Level Designs and Configuration Documents to support build activities.

You will lead technical solution delivery from design through to implementation

Work within a wider project delivery team, engaging in design workshops to support architectural coherence across the project.

Support and engage with project governance and project management requirements.

Contribute to the design of appropriate test documentation.

Proven experience designing and delivering vitalisation solutions in Defence.

Strong knowledge of virtualisation technologies and products.

Ability to collaborate across teams and engage with stakeholders.

Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
