Systems Verification Engineer

Our large defence client is looking for a Verification & Validation Engineer to apply IVVTQA principles across the systems engineering lifecycle on defence projects.

This role is hybrid with a minimum of 2-3 days per week on site.

• Apply IVVTQA principles across the SE lifecycle, from requirements to V&V, supporting acceptance.
• Contribute to IVVTQA management plans, processes, and resources, ensuring their upkeep.
• Help create and perform IVVTQA activities according to approved plans and procedures.
• Ensure IVVTQA activities align with department and industry standards.
• Support IVVTQA in project reviews, including design, risk, and change impact.

• Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent experience in Systems Engineering/Software/Hardware engineering (SE processes and methodologies (IAW ISO 15288/ISO 29119/INCOSE)).
• Experienced in System Engineering V&V lifecycle planning, delivering and reporting.
• Proven experience of an evidence-based approach for Systems Integration, V&V and Acceptance
• Systems thinking, logical approach, RCA/rectification/regression management.
• Good communication, stakeholder management, & technical report writing.
