Key responsibilities
  • Elaborate and agree system requirements understanding the change in system capability against an established design baseline
  • Updating of Systems Design
  • Undertaking performance analysis
  • Managing the interface reviews (changes)
  • Liaise with customers and/or suppliers in assigned areas on engineering matters.
  • Trials and integration support
Skills & experience
  • Experience with complex real time systems
  • Someone who is meticulous and keen to learn and progress, process driven
  • Requirements management experience
  • Interface analysis experience
  • Systems Design knowledge and understanding
  • Ability to manage issues from concurrent activities balancing the needs and priorities of each
  • Budget & time management skills
  • Problem analysis & solution identification

The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:

  • Experience or knowledge of the Naval Combat Systems Development Environment.
  • Customer facing experience
  • Understanding of Engineering lifecycle processes
