Solution Architect (Applications)

Working as part of small project team designing and delivering a new, high security capability supporting an exciting programme in Defence. In this fast-paced environment you will play a critical part in the design and delivery of this capability.

You will need experience working within the Solutions Architecture of Applications.

• Be the project Application Solution Architect and SME, providing expert design and guidance on hosting and migration of COTS and non-COTS applications and data; overseeing the design, build, and deployment phases, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Develop High-Level Designs and Architecture Overview Documents to host a broad range of applications and data in virtual environments.
• Develop Low-Level Designs and Configuration Documents migration and deployment.
• You will lead technical solution delivery from design through to implementation
• Work within a wider project delivery team, engaging in design workshops to support architectural coherence across the project.
• Support and engage with project governance and project management requirements.
• Contribute to the design of appropriate test documentation.

• Proven experience designing and delivering solutions in Defence.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies and application and data hosting.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and engage with stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
