The company is a global consulting firm that works with governments and large organisations on complex technology and transformation challenges. This role focuses on helping senior government clients modernise critical telecom and satellite capabilities, combining strategy consulting with technical leadership to deliver high-impact projects in secure, mission-critical environments.
Working Patterns: Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite.
Key responsibilities
- Lead complex strategy and transformation programmes focused on space and government operations, owning delivery from planning through execution
- Use research and data analysis to shape procurement strategies, identifying cost savings, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Engage senior stakeholders through workshops, meetings, and clear reporting, turning technical findings into practical decisions
- Build trusted client relationships while mentoring teams and supporting new business through proposals and presentations
Skills & experience
- Strong technical expertise in satellite communications and telecom network architecture, including IP core, access and transport networks
- Deep understanding of end-to-end network data flows and hands-on experience testing and validating network performance
- Proven experience applying telecom expertise in secure or sensitive environments such as national security, law enforcement, or regulated settings
- Track record of leading complex technical or innovation projects and guiding senior stakeholder working groups
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to senior and non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing
- Strong project delivery skills, able to manage independent workstreams, adapt in fast-changing environments, and collaborate effectively within diverse teams
- Experience in consulting or advisory environments, with knowledge of the commercial space sector, including technical assessments for deals and contributions to thought leadership on space technologies and trends
