Key responsibilities

As a Senior Solutions Architect in the pre-sales team, you will be responsible for 5 things:

  • Opportunity Development – Work closely with market teams to shape strategy, engage early with clients to understand their needs and position for downstream procurement activities. Support the rigorous qualification of opportunities to ensure effort is prioritised.
  • Create Solutions – Identify market and technology trends and understand the competitive landscape to develop winning solutions that are both technically and commercially viable.
  • Develop Integrated Service Lines – Create and continuously improve our go-to-market offerings, combining our broad range of capabilities into services which are closely aligned to client needs.
  • Inform Capability Development – Provide feedback on client and technology trends to enable proactive capability development and capacity planning.
  • Setting up for successful delivery – Work with delivery and commercial teams to ensure technical risks are fully understood at the time of tender and support early stages of delivery mobilisation.
  • In addition to these 5 core responsibilities, you will be an active member of the Applied Technology practice, working collaboratively with colleagues, setting direction for the practice and bringing your fresh ideas and perspectives.
Skills & experience
  • A desire to think innovatively and creatively about the best way to solve client’s problems.
  • An in-depth understanding and experience of the full range of capabilities required to deliver digital transformation, systems integration and data analytics solutions to customers.
  • Experience in Security, Defence and/or Critical National Infrastructure is highly desirable.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and experience of developing business within a variety of difference commercial models.
  • Excellent stakeholder management with focus on nurturing & developing strong relationships.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship building skills; able to influence business decisions and formulate positive relationships with clients, strategic partners and colleagues.
  • A P4 or P5 position can be considered for this role.
