Senior Planner

Our client is looking for a Senior Planner with strong Primavera P6 experience managing large portfolio of Engineering projects within the Water sector.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience establishing and improving planning processes, creating templates and supporting the P6 database.

This role is hybrid with 2 days per week on site on Reading. You must be able to come into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, the office is next to the station.

• Developing and enhancing Planning processes for greater efficiently and consistency.
• Developing standardised schedules and reports and planning formats to be used across multiple projects to ensure consistency across planning activities.
• Support creation and development of a Primavera 6 database.
• Leading and supporting a small team of junior Planners.
• Experience navigating environments with previous delivery challenges, with a focus on driving improvement and restoring confidence in planning functions.

• Proven experience working in the water industry.
• Proven track record in portfolio management c. 30-40 projects.
• P6 Planning specific experience required.
• Management of portfolio of schemes, Engineering background ideally.
• Nice to have – Construction planning experience.
• Practical understanding of NEC.
• AMP7/ AMP8, Capital schemes, Treatment, Networks, Primavera, P6, Stakeholder engagement.
