Senior Digital Project Manager

Introduction

Our client is a large management consultancy looking for Project Managers with strong application/digital tool experience to assist their clients with implementing new tools, or transitioning from old to new tools, to help reduce cost.

The ideal candidate will have experience working across the full project lifecycle, as well as strong agile, implementation, and transformation or change experience. You will be used to working in a complex technical environment and be strong at problem solving.

This is a hybrid role with an average of 2-3 days per week onsite as per the client needs.

Key responsibilities
  • Project manage the full lifecycle of a digital application upgrade.
  • Implement digital applications/tools or ERP Upgrades for government clients.
  • Assisting clients with implementing new tech tools or transitioning them from older tools to newer tools.
  • Helping companies who have merged to transition, migrate, or integrate tech.
  • Manage projects that consist of cross-disciplinary teams and ensure delivery to meet agreed timescales, quality, processes, and procedures.
  • Liaising with stakeholders and SMEs to aid the development and delivery of requirements.
  • Assist with the creation of business cases if required.
  • Interface with project teams to ensure solutions are delivered across the client business.
Skills & experience
  • Ability to drive and motivate the delivery of complex technical projects.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Strong financial management experience.
  • Risk management skills and knowledge.
  • Strong experience managing stakeholders.
  • Experience using MS Project, Primavera, or other project management/planning tools.
  • Full project lifecycle management is essential.
  • Prince2 Practitioner, APM, Agile or PMP project management methods and practices or similar.
  • Experience project managing the delivery of Apps implementation from initiation through to implementation.
  • Working knowledge of business case preparation, requirements management, planning, risk, and issue management, change control, and configuration management.
  • Experience of budget, cost management and control for multimillion pound projects in a global business.
