Senior BIM Technician

Our client is a large engineering and nuclear company operating within sectors such as Aviation, Defence, Energy, Education, Water and Cities & Development. 

They are looking for a Senior BIM Technician with expertise in Revit and Civils 3D to work on Critical Infrastructure Transformation Programmes.

Working Patterns and location – Hybrid 2-3 days a week on site but must be prepared to be on site if required

• Generating models and drawings adhering to design standards and codes to a high standard.
• Working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
• Setting up and operating ProjectWise, BIM360 or equivalent.
• Time management and deliverables management.
• Quality assurance.
• Ensure coordination of BIM models and resolve any clashes or inconsistencies using tools such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D or Revit.
• Work closely with project teams to ensure design intent is accurately represented in the BIM model.

• Fully competent in AutoCAD, Civils 3D, Revit.
• Experience in implementing and administrating Common Data Environments.
• Sound knowledge in external works modelling such as utilities, paved surfaces, earthworks and drainage.
• Proficient in coordinating multidisciplinary models.
• Previous experience setting up and operating ProjectWise, BIM360 or equivalent.
• Knowledge of industry standards.
