This role is in Hampshire, and our client is looking for someone who already has Security Clearance or is willing to undergo. Please make yourself aware of the process before applying!

As part of the PMO team, you will be an integral part of driving the balance between the needs of the customer and delivering strong financial and delivery performance for the Business Unit. You will achieve this by supporting the Defence sales teams with all aspects of sales opportunity administration.

Added value will be achieved through the simplification and standardisation of business processes; improvement of the accuracy and predictability of forecasts; increase in the responsiveness of sales function to an ever-changing commercial landscape; and application of the relevant controls to ensure consistently performance.

Key responsibilities
  • Co-ordination of sales opportunities alongside Client Managers – Order Intake & Revenue forecasting (dates, values & PWINs).
  • Generation of standard quotations using pre-agreed pricing, standard terms & conditions and known and approved customers.
  • Third party relationship management for commodities & catalogue items. Including liaison with trade compliance, despatch, and Project Managers.
  • Allocation of web generated leads to Client Managers and monitoring follow up actions, maintaining action log.
  • Occasional support to shows and exhibitions – Business Card capture, action log generation and maintenance.
Skills & experience
  • Proactive approach and ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Power suite.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in relevant roles in customer facing organisations, preferably with experience of delivering complex frameworks and programmes.
  • Experience of using SalesForce and SAP.
  • Knowledge of sales and bidding processes.
  • Experience working within a busy PMO or Sales environment.
  • Information and Data Management experience.
