Datasource is a leader in Consultancy, IT and Technical recruitment. We specialise in supplying some of the most prestigious and respected Defence, Government, Financial Services and Technical companies in the UK.

We are looking for exceptional Graduates to start their career with us!

This will be a 12 month fixed term contract, with the potential for a permanent job upon completion of the Graduate Scheme. This could be within the Recruitment, administration or Business operations team.

You will undertake 4 x 3 month placements within the business, to give you a broad knowledge of how our Recruitment business functions.

Key responsibilities

1st placement – Office Administration

Tasks:

  • Formatting CVs
  • Formatting job specs
  • Answering the phone
  • Administering the website
  • Database administration
  • Marketing on LinkedIn
  • GDPR policies

2nd placement – Recruitment Resourcing

Tasks:

  • Practicing good communication to client and customers
  • Arranging interviews
  • Calling candidates on our system
  • Calling candidates from job sites
  • Calling candidates from adverts
  • The recruitment process

3rd placement – Finance, Commercial and Business Operations

Tasks:

  • Checking timesheets
  • Checking and administering invoices
  • Administering contractor and client contracts and paperwork
  • Facilities management
  • Office management
  • Certifications, policies, procedures and procedures needed to run a successful business
  • Supporting event management

4th placement – Sales

Tasks:

  • Generating sales leads
  • Contacting potential new clients
  • Sales presentations
  • Negotiating terms
  • Producing tender documents
Skills & experience
  • A passion for customer service
  • A keen interest in Recruitment or Business Management
  • A minimum of 2.1 Degree
  • An interest in Technology or the Defence Industry would be of benefit!

Once you have finished you will have achieved an excellent base understanding of the following:

  • The importance of excellent customer service
  • Basic business finance, invoicing and accounting
  • Facilities and office management for a busy office
  • Contractual and commercial administration
  • Sales and tendering support
  • Recruitment processes
  • Core knowledge of the key areas of a successful business

Starting salary of £19,500

Starting dates between June and September 2022
