QA Engineer

This is a hybrid role with a mixture of onsite and home working and occasional travel to multiple sites.

This role will consist of providing support to a diverse range of projects, conducting high quality standard checks, whilst suggesting improvements and resolving issues before the projects are delivered.

• Assist in establishing quality standards for initial project phases
• Collaborate with project management on quality-related issues
• Enhance project documentation through reviews and suggestions
• Perform both internal and external audits
• Develop and upkeep key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Attend weekly meetings as a representative of the quality department

• Proficiency in quality management systems (BS EN ISO 9001)
• Competency in CAPA and root cause investigations
• Skilled in conducting audits
• Background in nuclear industry advantageous
• Attainment of HNC/HND level education in a relevant field
• Preferred certification as a lead auditor
• Possession of recognized professional qualifications in Quality Management is beneficial
