Project Planning Consultant

This is a hybrid role and you will be able to work from home most of the time however you will be required onsite in Plymouth when required.

My client is a large defence consultancy who are currently delivering a large and complex weapons handling programme.

They are looking for a Project Cost Planner to manage the financial project controls from initiation through to completion. You will need previous experience in the defence industry and experience managing project costs.

• Assist in all aspects of project cost control.
• Prepare and maintain project cost control reports and documents.
• Maintain the master schedule and advise on schedule issues.
• Collate data to enable EVM and risk analysis.
• Develop spend predictions and reconciliations.

• Experience delivering complex defence projects.
• Strong cost control experience.
• Experience preparing and maintaining master schedules.
• APM PMQ qualification or equivalent.
