Our client are a leading consultancy looking for confident and experienced Project Managers to work on their IT Infrastructure projects.

Our client has a vacancy for an experienced Project Manager to join the security transformation programme based at Heathrow.
Our client’s delivery team offers comprehensive technical support, project management, and engineering services to Heathrow. The team also provides guidance on the latest emerging technologies. Their responsibilities encompass the design and installation of passive IT infrastructure, which includes networks, associated assets and connected devices such as common use terminals, displays, access control systems, and CCTV; experience of delivering large scale IT projects in these disciplines is essential.
Our client is seeking a candidate able to demonstrate a high level of project leadership capability, who can ensure design delivery to time and budget on complex design projects. You will also be responsible for the bidding and delivery of the projects to time, cost, and quality and throughout their project lifecycle, from tender to closeout. You will be comfortable working with a diverse range of suppliers and styles and be able to solve problems proactively.

Key responsibilities
- Providing project leadership on large value IT Projects.
- Ability to work constructively and collaboratively with clients so that the commercial objectives are protected and met.
- Ensure projects meet business revenue, profit, and cash-flow expectations.
- Make sure bids and projects are appropriately resourced and take a Bid leadership role on selective pursuits.
- Contribute to the bid preparation and work winning process with focus on ensuring the deliverability of the tendered works.
- Coordinate with practice managers to plan and adequately resource bids and projects
- Develop and maintain client relationships to support project delivery performance and maximise potential for project extensions and new work.
- Achieve defined personal productivity target for yourself and your team through involvement in these projects.
- Ensure compliance with Business Management, HSE and Quality procedures.
- Maintain your knowledge of current design and regulatory standards.
Skills & experience
- Degree qualified (degree or HNC in a relevant Engineering Discipline) preferable.
- Chartered status or working towards desirable.
- Extensive project management experience within large value information communication systems and telecomms related projects
- Experience of working with Heathrow, their Contractors and third parties would be an advantage but is not essential.
- Strong technical/ICS background essential.
- Experience of the management of a project portfolio.
- Good understanding of Design procedures, change control, checking and Review requirements.
- Experience of leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Degree qualified (degree or HNC in a relevant Engineering Discipline) preferable.
- Ideally as a minimum APMP or PRINCE2.
- Ideally some form of H&S qualification in CDM or APS, IOSHH.
- Required CSCS or equivalent.
- Experience with NEC4 contracting preferred.
