Project Manager

This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week required onsite. The rest of the work can be done from home. You may also be required to travel to client sites occasionally.

My client is a large construction and engineering consultancy who help major customers deliver highly technical projects across the globe.

They are looking for a Transport Project Manager to assist clients deliver high profile projects across a variety of sectors.

• Managing and administering NEC or ECC contracts
• Managing project teams or workstreams
• Take responsibility for high quality delivery
• Build strong relationships with clients
• Actively developing solutions and supporting tools and methods
• Liaising with service line teams, account teams and functional specialists

• Experience working with UK Government/Local Authorities (particularly in flood risk, environmental agencies, water companies)
• Experience managing small – medium teams.
• Experience managing projects from the planning phase into implementation.
• Previous experience managing NEC contracts.

Desirable Skills:

• Project management certification (APM or PRINCE2)
• Degree or HND qualification in an engineering or construction field.
• Professionally qualified or near qualified status with the ICE, CIWEM, APM or similar professional institution would be advantageous.
• NEC3 or NEC4 PM Accreditation.
• CITB Site Management Safety Training Course.
• Full UK Driving Licence
