This is a hybrid role with attendance required approximately once per week and the rest of the work can be done from home. Some flexibility is needed though as you may be asked to work onsite more frequently if the project demands.

My client is a large defence and engineering consultancy who are delivering some critical upgrades to nuclear infrastructure.

You will be there to ensure the project management delivery of a specific package within their portfolio, and you must have NEC4 experience and ideally nuclear experience.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Project Manager who is managing the contract of a new piece of work.
  • Support in delivery of schedule, scope, contractual, financial and risk management functions.
  • Assisting the technical and project team in development of requirements, project scope and solutions.
  • Translate supply chain reporting into useable data to inform planning, monitoring and control.
  • Provide input to cost and budget monitoring.
  • Contribute to the risk process including the identification, assessment, and planning.
Skills & experience
  • Previous experience working within a project environment, ideally with NEC4 contract experience.
  • The project will be on the Nuclear Licensed site and therefore experience in delivery of Nuclear safety implicated structures, equipment or services would be of benefit.
  • APM project management qualification (or equivalent).
  • NEC4 Accredited Project Manager
