Project Controller

My client is a large defence company who is looking for a Project Controls Manager to ensure project control measures such as time, scope, quality, risk are managed effectively.

You will need to have experience managing teams and measuring performance against the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB).

This is a hybrid role with requirements to be onsite when required.

Key responsibilities
  • Establish the Performance Measurement Baseline position in terms of scope/cost/schedule.
  • Manage scheduling staff to develop, manage, revise, and analyse integrated project schedules.
  • Provide regular management reporting both internal and external to the project.
  • Establish a reliable and accurate Earned Value Management (EVM) system.
  • Develop and mentor staff to ensure succession planning is in place.
  • Provide weekly and monthly Project Progress and Metrics Reports as appropriate for the project.
Skills & experience
  • Experience in project controls on complex/major projects or programmes.
  • knowledge of project controls approaches and practices, such as planning / scheduling, cost, risk and analysis, performance management (i.e. EVM), change management and configuration control.
  • Experience in working with MSP / P6, RiskHive, ERP / SAP systems etc.
  • Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams.
