Project Controller
Introduction
Our client is looking for Project Controllers to work high value Defence, Infrastructure, Utilises or Public Sector projects providing performance reporting and analysis support.
This is an excellent opportunity to work either in a large team or give you the opportunity to be the key point of contact with a client.
This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days on site per week.
Key responsibilities
- Provide Project Controls services to external clients and advise them on controls procedures and methodologies.
- Gather client requirements and implement controls processes.
- Work with cost and planning engineers to develop work breakdown structures and robust performance baselines.
- Establish progress and cost monitoring methods.
- Produce project control reports and provide performance analysis and recommendations for clients.
- The development and maintenance of P3M processes including planning and scheduling.
- Support project cost and budgeting preparation.
- Preparation and regular updating of Project Master Schedule.
- Earned Value Management.
Skills & experience
- Previous experience working in a Project Controls environment on a major project or programme within the Infrastructure, Rail, Utilities or Defence).
- Experience working in a Consultancy environment or very client facing role.
- Earned Value Management experience.
- Familiar with planning software such as Primavera P6.
- Some experience of working in a business transformation, change management or delivery project environment.
- Some experience of working in a client team to influence strategic decision makers and deliver practical solutions.
