Our client is a world-leading consultancy with a commitment to reducing carbon emissions, looking for a skilled Project Manager to work on a new sustainable power station build project.
The client is looking for candidates with working knowledge of NEC and FIDIC contracts, and experience in the Nuclear energy sector or similar.

Our client is currently recruiting for Defence and Aerospace domain experts to provide engineering, technical, and strategic consultancy advice. Due to the holistic approach our client takes to their work, people will often work across different disciplines and environments!
Key responsibilities
- Manage project delivery and the interfaces to the other elements of the programme.
- Working with stakeholders and contract partners, maintaining excellent communication both internally and externally.
- Manage and monitor budgets, as well as risk management and mitigation.
- Securing the required resources to meet project requirements, and maintaining project governance arrangements.
- Provide leadership to project teams.
Skills & experience
- Professional Qualification in Project Management such as APM PMQ or other recognised qualification.
- Demonstrated experience of managing major projects throughout the project lifecycle ideally within the Nuclear Energy sector or similar regulated environment.
- Procurement and contract management, as well as control of costs, risk, schedule, and change.
- Excellent communication skills to manage relationships with stakeholders, and project team members.
- Understanding the needs of nuclear quality and how nuclear quality is assured and controlled.
- Experience operating within NEC and FIDIC commercial arrangements, and a working knowledge of CDM Regulations.
Desirable Skills:
- Degree qualification in project management, management, construction, engineering, or other relevant discipline.
