Product Specialist (ERP)

Our client operate in the Food and Beverage sector. They specialise in building ERP Software.

As a Product Specialist you will be shaping our client’s ERP platforms where you will be translating stakeholder requirements into detailed designs. This ensures the software matches how the business actually work

Working Patterns: This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week on site in Chester.

Product Development

• Develop deep knowledge of the ERP platform and its capabilities, functionality, and limitations.
• Understand customer and internal business processes, particularly within manufacturing or Food and Beverage environments.
• Design and expand new modules on our product roadmap.
• Create prototypes of user interfaces and data models.
• Transform prototypes into detailed specifications and developer-ready tickets.
• Partner with business stakeholders, software developers, and project teams.
• Work within established project management frameworks.
• Support the delivery by reviewing completed functionality to ensure it meets requirements and under expectations.

• Proven understanding of software development and delivery processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• UI/UX Design skills.
• Ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and their core functionality.
• Familiarity with Microsoft technology stack (C#, SQL Server).
• Ability to understand technical constraints and possibilities.
• Preferable tooling Figma or other user interface design skills.

The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:

• Background in Food and Beverage or manufacturing industries.
• Familiarity with business operations in production environments.
