Procurement Consultant
Introduction
This will be a hybrid role where you will be in the office 2-3 days per week with travel to client sites required on the occasion.

We are looking for someone who has a strong background in the defence and security sector who holds a CIPS/MCIPS qualification. If this is you then don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity.
Key responsibilities
- Support client negotiations and evaluation of supplier proposals
- Provide support to procurement strategies and tender documentation, contract administration.
- Stakeholder management, both internally and client facing
- Measure contract performance
- Contract administration
- Recognise and recommend available procurement options
- Raise and administer purchase orders via client systems
Skills & experience
- Procurement, Sourcing, Category management, Contract management, Supply Chain management or Commercial management experience.
- Ideally minimum of 3 years commercial experience.
- A strong commercial and business acumen.
- Strong people and management skills.
- Degree qualified.
- Hold CIPS Level 4 Foundation Diploma with the desire to continue working towards Level 5 or RICS or APM or equivalent.
Desirable Skills:
- The Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations (DSPCR).
- The Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
- Single source/direct award procurements.
- Member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (MCIPS) ideally.
