Procurement Consultant

This will be a hybrid role where you will be in the office 2-3 days per week with travel to client sites required on the occasion.

We are looking for someone who has a strong background in the defence and security sector who holds a CIPS/MCIPS qualification. If this is you then don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity.

• Support client negotiations and evaluation of supplier proposals
• Provide support to procurement strategies and tender documentation, contract administration.
• Stakeholder management, both internally and client facing
• Measure contract performance
• Contract administration
• Recognise and recommend available procurement options
• Raise and administer purchase orders via client systems

• Procurement, Sourcing, Category management, Contract management, Supply Chain management or Commercial management experience.
• Ideally minimum of 3 years commercial experience.
• A strong commercial and business acumen.
• Strong people and management skills.
• Degree qualified.
• Hold CIPS Level 4 Foundation Diploma with the desire to continue working towards Level 5 or RICS or APM or equivalent.

Desirable Skills:

• The Defence and Security Public Contracts Regulations (DSPCR).
• The Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
• Single source/direct award procurements.
• Member of Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (MCIPS) ideally.
