Principal Cyber Consultant

Introduction

Our client is looking for someone with experience within OT, Infrastructure or similar to join their team. This role will focus on ‘win work’ activities and technical oversight of the cyber consulting and portfolio. Using your technical and consulting skills, you’ll spearhead their efforts to position them as a market leader in the Operational Technology, Infrastructure, Defence and Government domains, provide technical leadership of their most challenging tasks and help position and win future opportunities that emerge from new technology and ways of working. You will act as a focal point to grow and develop their technical capabilities.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership for our most complex and challenging cyber consulting and implementation tasks, ensuring excellent delivery outcomes.
  • Drive technical coherence across the portfolio, coaching and guiding staff as to the most appropriate technical approaches.
  • Work closely with the Defence and Government account teams, providing a technical focal point supporting development of robust growth.
  • Work with Directors and Managers, leading the technical elements of key bids and pursuits to drive sales.
  • Develop and articulate compelling value propositions and leading thought-leadership.
  • Drive our brand perception with key economic buyers and strategic influencers in line with our desired market positioning.
  • Act as a bridge into practices, articulating strategic capability development needs and support both market and practice strategies and plans.
  • Leverage senior client relationships in pursuit of the above.
Skills & experience
  • Outstanding cyber technical credentials at enterprise level, including but not limited to cyber defence tools technologies and solutions, cyber vulnerability, cyber security architectures and standards, cyber data exploitation and analysis, GRC, practical cyber defence within complex, distributed enterprises and the importance of human factors. Associated qualifications and accreditations required to support this.
  • Breadth of consultancy experience, working as a trusted advisor with Board level stakeholders tackling enterprise-level cyber issues and concerns.
  • Able to operate at strategic and detail levels with equal ease.
  • Accomplished at communicating tricky technical concepts with ease to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Existing knowledge of cyber at enterprise level, how Defence and Government work and key stakeholders in these areas.
  • Demonstrable evidence of technically leading complex tender responses.
