The client for this role is a leading certified cyber security consultancy helping clients avoid potential breaches and to deter, detect and respond to the most sophisticated cyber-attacks.
Key responsibilities
- Find Vulnerabilities in a range of systems including web applications, network infrastructure and mobile applications
- Progress towards CREST Qualification
- Write reports and technical documentation for clients
- Help improve the clients Processes and tools
- Carry out ethical hacking on clients systems
Skills & experience
- 3+ years Penetration Testing experience
- Demonstrable manual Penetration Testing experience on a variety of systems. For example: Mobiles, networks etc
- Scripting experience such as: Bash, PowerShell, Python, Java
- Experience using Penetration Testing tools. For example: Burp suite, Sparta, SQLmap etc
- Experience working with Linux or Windows
Desirable:
- Working towards or achieved CREST qualification
The client would like to see:
- Interest in CTF (Capture the flag) events or Bug Bounties
