 This role can provide hybrid working; however our client does want someone who wants to be on site and around customers and clients most of the time. So if you are an enthusiastic individual who experience leading teams and running projects for Nuclear Weapons, apply today!

 The ideal candidate needs to already have obtained security clearance or be eligible for Security Clearance, please familiarise yourself with the vetting process before applying.

 This role will be a mixture of systems engineering, programme management and support for the UKs CASD This role

Key responsibilities
  • Provide advice to senior leaders within the DNE
  • Provide leadership across our client’s business to deliver successful projects and programmes against their client’s requirements.
  • You will be using your client’s requirement and the unique context of the DNE to direct and guide the teams work including coaching and mentoring of junior colleagues and members of our client’s team to transfer knowledge and build capacity across the DNE.
  • Project and programme management skills enabling our clients to deliver their programmes successfully.
  • Complex stakeholder engagement across the DNE and enabling successful delivery of projects and programmes to schedules and budgets provided.
  • Leadership – The experience and insight to lead, develop and articulate a clear vision to solve complex problems within the DNE, addressing systems engineering, programme delivery and investment decisions.
  • Highly effective engagement with stakeholders of all levels.
  • The ability to drive, facilitate and lead effective collaboration across multi-disciplined teams.
  • Familiarity and understanding of the US/UK relationship in the context of the DNE.
Skills & experience
  • Chartered status in a relevant field
  • Experience working within the Defence Nuclear Enterprise
  • Degree qualified
  • Knowledge of regulatory bodies and structures relevant to the DNE
  • Technical leadership and/or programme management skills.
  • APM or Prince2 qualification (or the equivalent)
