NEC Project Manager
Introduction
Our client is a large consultancy looking for a Project Manager to work on high-profile and complex construction infrastructure projects in their busy and expanding Defence Infrastructure business.
The right candidate will have strong construction project experience and NEC contract knowledge.
This role is ideal for Project Managers with experience in Defence, Rail, Water/Utilities, or Highways, who understand the complex work involved.
Working Patterns – Hybrid – 2-3 days per week onsite
Key responsibilities
- To lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end to end service delivery.
- To provide support on major Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for an aspect of service delivery.
- To ensure that client objectives are met and that projects are delivered to time and cost targets and the appropriate quality standards.
- Supporting clients as they transition to Net Zero and deal with wider changes to make themselves more sustainable.
Skills & experience
- Degree qualified in a construction related subject.
- Preferred if chartered / qualified with ICE, APM, RICS etc.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with a focus on NEC contracts.
- Knowledge of CDM/site health and safety as it pertains to NEC contracts.
- Strong expertise in NEC contract administration.
