NEC Project Manager

This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week required onsite as well as occasional office and client site visits. The rest of the work can be done from home.

My client is a world-leading construction consultancy who are at the forefront of some of the largest programmes being delivered today.

They are currently looking for Project Managers to work on high-profile and complex highways, transport or utilities projects.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver a wide range of high-profile projects across Infrastructure (transport and utilities).
  • Establish project objectives, scope and deliverables.
  • Establish clear project objectives, scope, and deliverables, while defining a robust governance structure.
  • Managing, leading and developing project teams or work streams as part of larger projects.
  • Define the governance structure for the project and ensure project controls are applied.
  • Ensure projects meet and exceed clients’ expectations.
  • NEC3 and NEC4 contract administration activities.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and management.
  • Apply health, safety, and quality knowledge.
Skills & experience
  • Experience of infrastructure project management and/or programme management across the project lifecycle.
  • Significant experience of administering JCT, NEC or Construction Contracts.
  • Experience of procurement and managing NEC contracts.
  • Experience of managing contractors, consultants and other advisors on infrastructure projects.
  • NEC3 or NEC4 Accredited Project Manager.
  • Professional affiliation, qualification or near qualified status with the APM, ICE, or similar professional institution.
  • Project management certification (APM/PRINCE2/MSP).
